Man Utd Ready to Seal £46.5m Deal for Promising Striker

Manchester United is reportedly prepared to finalize a £46.5 million deal, which includes both the transfer fee and agent commission, to acquire Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.

According to Corriere dello Sport, there are three potential outcomes for Zirkzee’s future this summer. First, the young forward might remain with Bologna under his current terms. Second, Bologna could secure full rights to Zirkzee by paying Bayern Munich around 16 million euros, as they currently owe a percentage of any sale to the German club. Lastly, Zirkzee could express his desire to join another team, possibly Manchester United.

The report highlights that Manchester United is willing to agree to a deal worth £46.5 million (55 million euros – 40 million euros for the transfer fee and 15 million euros for agent commission) to sign Zirkzee. The 20-time English champions are ready to activate his release clause and pay the commission fee to Kia Joorabchian without hesitation.

While AC Milan has shown interest in Zirkzee, they are not mentioned in the latest update from Corriere dello Sport. Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is in dire need of a striker who can net at least 20 goals in the Premier League to mount a serious title challenge.

The potential addition of Zirkzee could significantly boost United’s attacking prowess. But is a deal worth £46.5 million for the promising forward the right move for the Red Devils?
