Manchester United Nearing £30-£34 Million Transfer Agreement

Manchester United is poised to part ways with Mason Greenwood during the summer transfer window, but only if the right offer comes through.

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus is making significant strides in securing Greenwood from the Red Devils. The Italian outlet reports that Greenwood has already agreed to a move to the Bianconeri, but Manchester United needs to be convinced.

The Premier League giants are prepared to accept a bid between £30 million and £34 million (€35-40 million) for the English forward. However, Juventus considers this price excessive, especially since Greenwood’s contract expires next year. As a result, the Serie A club is negotiating for a lower fee and exploring more favorable terms.

To sweeten the deal, Juventus is willing to include Samuel Iling-Junior as part of the transfer package for Greenwood. Additionally, they might offer Federico Chiesa, a proven playmaker who is also set to be free next year, and whom Juventus wants to offload immediately.

La Gazzetta suggests that Manchester United, given its stature, has the potential to convince Chiesa to make the move to Old Trafford. Last season, Greenwood impressed on loan at Getafe, starting 30 La Liga games and contributing 14 goals. Chiesa, meanwhile, started 25 league games for Juventus and recorded 12 goals.

What do you think—should Manchester United trade Mason Greenwood for Federico Chiesa?
