Man United Considers ‘Huge’ Offer for Marcus Rashford
Marcus Rashford may be on his way out of Manchester United later this summer if the club secures a high-profile forward replacement.
In the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke discussed the uncertain future of the England star. Football Insider previously reported on May 4 that Rashford might leave Old Trafford, although his substantial salary could complicate the move.
The potential signing of Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee as a replacement could push Rashford closer to an exit. On February 1, Football Insider revealed that Arsenal is interested in bringing the 26-year-old to the Emirates, a possibility that still exists.
United is open to considering a “huge” offer for their academy product. Rashford, who struggled in the 2023-24 season with just eight goals in 43 appearances, has been dropped from the England squad. He finished the season on the bench, unable to secure a spot in Erik ten Hag’s starting XI.
Despite his recent struggles, Rashford has four years remaining on his contract with United, which he extended last July, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028.
